Xentech Solutions is built around a core team with many years collective experience in the Telecoms and Datacoms industry, developing complex electronic products for major multi-national Telecoms Equipment Manufacturers. Having worked for both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Design/Manufacturers (ODM) the founders have a unique insight into the relationships, issues and solutions required to build a successful partnership between the OEM and the Manufacturer.

Kevin O'Brien, Managing Director
Kevin has over 20 years of networking and data communications industry experience, working for multinational Tier 1 OEM and ODM companies. Prior to forming Xentech Solutions, Kevin was Managing Director at Accton Technology Limited, the UK design arm of a Taiwanese Ethernet equipment manufacturer and before that, he spent 13 years at 3Com Europe, where he held several senior Engineering and Operational Management Roles. Kevin holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Brunel University.

Dr Clive Stubbings, Technical Director
Clive has over 25 years experience in Systems, Software, Research and Management roles across a number of high technology sectors including data communications and multimedia. An engineer at heart, Clive brings complex system, software architecture and design, Linux and Networking Protocols skills to the team. Prior to joining Xentech, Clive was Technical Director of the Accton Technology UK development centre. Before that he held senior roles at 3Com and Tandberg Television/News Digital Systems. Clive holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Engineering from Aberdeen University and a Ph.D in Electronic Engineering working with Robotic Systems from the University of Hull.

Deepak Patel, Engineering Director
Deepak has over 25 years of data communications industry experience, working for multinational Tier 1 OEM and ODM companies. Prior to forming Xentech Solutions, Deepak was Hardware Architect at Accton Technology and before that, he spent 4 years at 3Com Europe, where he held senior Engineering Roles. Deepak previously held various Hardware Engineering roles at Case. Deepak holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University.

Chris Perkins, Operations Director
Chris has over 20 years of networking and data communications experience, working for multinational Tier 1 OEM and ODM companies. Prior to forming Xentech Solutions, Chris was a Senior Project Manager at Accton Technology, and before that, spent 8 years at 3Com Europe, where he held Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Hardware Consultant, and Hardware Engineering roles. Chris has previously held Hardware Engineering roles at Hunting Engineering, Fujitsu Telecommunications and Marconi Defence Systems. Chris holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
