Xentech Solutions can do much more than design a product for you, we have the knowledge
and experience to take a design right through to volume manufacture. The Productisation
phase encompasses the process of taking a working design through the regulatory and
quality approvals required to place the product on the world-wide markets.
As a minimum requirement for placing a product on the market in Europe, CE marking is required and Xentech Solutions can help you with all aspects of achieving that, whether it is by the creation of a Technical File or by testing to the relevant European Standards using certified test houses.
Advice can be given as to what Standards are mandatory and what Standards will give your product a competitive edge.
It is not just Europe, different countries have different requirements and the team at Xentech have experience of taking products to market in Asia and the US as well as Europe.
As well as mandatory Regulatory Approvals, there are often other expected Standards and Norms required as a condition of entry to a market or as a key product differentiator. Xentech Solutions can carry out a wide variety of Environmental Tests to show conformance to the relevant Standard for your chosen market.
Whilst making the correct design decisions is a vitally important aspect of creating a quality product, there are times when further evidence is required, either to satisfy yourself of the quality of a product, to help predict warranty costs, or as part of the marketing strategy. These measures can include a detailed Reliability analysis to calculate a MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) or a MTTF (Mean Time to Failure) figure.
Further confidence in a design can be gained by carrying out accelerated life tests to a recognised HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) methodology and by applying stress screening (HASS – Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) at the manufacturing stage. Xentech Solutions can advise and carry out tests to help you build the utmost confidence in your product.
Xentech Solutions will work with a CEM partner to introduce a design into manufacturing, we will manage the process to ensure that prototype builds are built on time, to specification and that there is a smooth transition into volume manufacturing.
