Project Management

We are uniquely positioned to benefit from our experience of working for Tier 1 multinational OEM and ODM companies, project managing remote, offshore development centres in UK, USA, Taiwan and China. We understand the requirements and expectations from both sides of the relationship, understand the potential pitfalls, and know how to reduce the risks associated with outsourcing a product development.

Leadership

We will provide end-to-end project management of all internal, outsourced and partner activities. A project manager is assigned to the project during the feasibility study, and will remain with the product development for the duration of the project. The Project Manager is completely accountable for the success of their project, including project schedule, budget, quality and unit cost requirements.

Product Development

A successful product development delivers the right product at the right time and the right cost. Meeting these requirements is the primary responsibility of the Project Manager. We use a well defined concurrent engineering process with cross-functional development teams and state-of-the-art design tools. All products are designed for manufacture (DFM) and test (DFT), reliability, EMC and regulatory compliance from the start so that the first prototypes are suitable for introduction into the production facility.

Communication

The Project Manager is your primary point of contact and for our internal development team. Regular weekly status reports, conference calls and face-to-face meetings during critical phases of the project ensure that you are fully aware of the project status, progress and issues.
